Clarification - Allegany State Park - Thomas Hamilton, 92 Missing
After speaking to New York State Park Police, there is a clarification in reference to the notes scribbled on the drawing distributed by a local media organization. The reference to "Cobolt Blue and Yellow" is not in reference to trail makers (just so there is no confusion) , but these were the colors on the floor of the shelter in the form of a "moasic" as per state park police.
In a News and Commentary posting late last night Motion Center, played devils advocate and noticed that there was a Blue Trail and an Orange Trail and a shelter, called a "lean to" nearby. When called for comment this was dismissed.
State police are searching in Allegany State Park, near Salamanca NY, for Thomas Hamilton, 92. New York State Park Police are now requesting the public's assistance from anyone familiar with Allegany State Park.

NEWS AND COMMENTARY
Could this be an emergency shelter? Also known as a "Lean to"?
If so, here's a map including all the lean to's An Excellent Map with Long and Lat and Lean tos
What is a Lean to:
Lean-tos
A night of sleep in the wilderness, sheltered from the elements in a log lean-to, is part of an Adirondack tradition dating back to simpler times. Though they have been around for hundreds of years, they have not outlived their usefulness. If you have ever spent a day hiking over peaks in the North Country, you may know the comforting sight of a lean-to as you round the last bend at the end of a long expedition.Source:http://www.thruthewoods.com/
Maybe it's Not. But There is mention of Cobolt Blue and Yellow in the picture WIVB has and there is a Blue Trail, there is a lean to. I have no idea what the yellow represents. (could the intersection of orange and blue trails) Could the orange paint faded and seem yellow?
