AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIER LAKE ENHANCED SNOW OF VARYING INTENSITY FROM
LAKE ONTARIO WILL AFFECT AREAS NORTH AND EAST OF BUFFALO ACROSS
NIAGARA...ORLEANS...NORTHEAST ERIE AND EASTERN GENESEE COUNTIES.
SNOWFALL RATES UP TO A HALF INCH PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.

A MORE SIGNIFICANT LAKE BAND WILL FOCUS ON CENTRAL ERIE COUNTY
FROM NEAR HAMBURG INTO THE BOSTON HILLS. THIS BAND WILL REMAIN
NEARLY STATIONARY THROUGH NOON, THEN SLOWLY LIFT TOWARDS THE CITY.
IT WILL LIKELY PRODUCE SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR IN A
VERY NARROW 2 TO 3 MILE WIDE BAND.

THE SNOWFALL ALONG WITH WINDS GUSTING TO 25 MPH WILL COMBINE TO
CREATE TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS WITH SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.
