Toronto Fire Services hosts Fire Services Day for kids@computers Scholarship Project recipients

(TORONTO) - Join Toronto Fire Services' Division Chief, Fire Prevention and Public Education, James Stoops, Toronto Employment and Social Services' General Manager, Heather MacVicar, and recipients of the kids@computers Scholarship Project for the seventh annual Fire Services Day event.
Firefighters will teach children ages 8 to 14 and their families about fire safety in the home and how technology is used on the fire trucks.
Date: Wednesday, August 18
Time: 2:30 p.m.
Location: Toronto Fire Services Academy, 895 Eastern Ave. (Eastern and Leslie)
This is a unique opportunity for children to meet firefighters and learn about fire safety in their homes as well as get hands-on experience with firefighting equipment.
