Update:
A "warming shelter" will be available at St. Luke's Mission of Mercy and The City Mission. They will be operational from 8:00 p.m. through 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.
How to get to the City Mission:
City Mission is located at the foot of the 33 downtown next to the Buffalo Education and Training Center.
From the Tonawandas (Main and Niagara - near Seymour) you can take the Delaware Bus Downtown and walk three blocks over to the City Mission. (Full - or discounted if you qualify - bus fare will be expected by the Bus Operator)

Community Services and Recreational Programmming have not confirmed the presence of a "Code Blue" in Buffalo, NY defiend as a weather emergency where individuals who are in need have a warm place to find shelter. The only place Buffalo, NY City employee could inform Motion Center was "go to the City Mission". The only other statement was "We are unaware of a Code Blue in Buffalo."

GENERAL SNOWFALL, ENHANCED DOWNWIND OF BOTH LAKES ERIE AND ONTARIO, WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION THROUGHOUT THE DAY. MOST OF THE SNOW WILL BE LIGHT, WITH MOST AREAS SEEING ONLY AN INCH OR SO THROUGH MID TO LATE AFTERNOON. ACROSS NIAGARA, ORLEANS, AND WESTERN GENESEE COUNTIES, THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO BE ENHANCED BY LAKE ONTARIO, WITH MULTIPLE NARROW BANDS OF HEAVY SNOW MIGRATING ACROSS THE AREA. IN THE MOST PERSISTENT BANDS, UP TO 2 MORE INCHES COULD COULD FALL BY 4 PM. SOUTH OF BUFFALO AND BATAVIA, SNOW BANDS OFF LAKE ERIE, MAINLY ACROSS SOUTHERN ERIE COUNTY, AND NORTHERN PORTIONS OF CHAUTAUQUA AND CATTARAUGUS COUNTIES, SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE AT AN INCH OR MORE AN HOUR IN THE HEAVIEST BANDS.
STRONG WESTERLY WINDS GUSTING TO 35 MPH WILL COMBINE WITH THE HEAVY SNOW TO CREATE TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL PRODUCE NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT TIMES. ADDITIONALLY, BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILLS WILL PERSIST.
