Yuma, Ariz. – U.S. Border Patrol agents from Yuma Sector seized approximately 374 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $299,895, and arrested one suspected smuggler on Sunday.
Border Patrol agents assigned to Yuma Station observed a suspicious vehicle near County 18th Street and the Levee Road. Agents observed several individuals loading bundles into the back of the vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, before returning to Mexico. Agents then conducted a vehicle stop at Avenue H and County 18th Street, and found eight bundles of marijuana in the back of the vehicle.
The marijuana, suspected smuggler, and vehicle were turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
