Nov. 3, 2010 - Art collector settlement allows repatriation of 2 rare ceramic antiquities to Peru
ICE HSI agents, along with counterparts at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, seized two Peruvian antiquities from an international flight at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City. ICE will return the items to Peru for display in a museum or cultural institution. Full Story
Nov. 3, 2010 - ICE deports accused murderer to Mexico
Jose Pilar Carrillo-Aguirre was wanted in Mexico for allegedly murdering another individual. ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers deported him on Nov. 3 after they discovered him serving a prison sentence at Dalby Federal Correctional Facility in Post, Texas. Full Story
Nov. 1, 2010 - 4 South Florida men charged in heroin trafficking ring
Three Broward County residents and one Miami resident were indicted on seven counts of narcotics trafficking. An ICE HSI investigation revealed that these gentlemen planned to distribute multi-kilogram quantities of heroin. Full Story
Nov. 1, 2010 - Orange County man charged with illegally importing prized muscle cars
A federal probe unveiled that Daryl R. Alison imported disassembled Nissan Skylines - cars made famous in the "Fast and the Furious" movies. He then assigned false Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) to the cars, knowing that they did not comply with U.S. environmental and safety regulations. Full Story
