City of Toronto staff will join a group of talented youth who will take centre stage at the 10th annual STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase on Saturday. The event will present high-calibre performances that feature various styles of urban dance, such as step, b-boy, break, hip hop, dancehall, jazz and contemporary.
Special guest judge: Tré Armstrong of So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

Time: 1 to 6 p.m.
Location: Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, 1 Front St. E., at Yonge Street
The 10th anniversary STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase will feature more than 300 performers age 6 to 24 from Parks, Forestry and Recreation dance programs and other youth-serving agencies. This is one of many youth initiatives developed by Parks, Forestry and Recreation to foster an environment where youth are safe, celebrated and encouraged to showcase their artistic creativity.
