Release Number: 1980-029
COLUMIBA, Mo. -- Federal Emergency Management Agency experts who can offer free rebuilding information and answer questions about how to strengthen property against future storm and flood damage will be in Rolla at the Route 66 Summerfest this Saturday, June 4, 2011.
Mitigation advisors will be on hand from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with suggestions to help home and business owners protect property against wind and flooding. The FEMA information booth will be at the Festival lots located at Oak and 9th Street in Rolla.

Mitigation advisors can provide valuable information about mold and mildew cleanup, electrical systems, furnaces and other appliances. There is also expert advice about how to reinforce structures against high wind and flooding. Information on flood insurance and free publications on a variety of rebuilding and safety topics will also be available both in English and Spanish.
To access information via the Internet, materials on a variety of topics about strengthening property may be downloaded atwww.fema.gov/rebuild/.
