Financing an Education
After financing the purchase of your home, paying for a post-secondary education, either yours or your child's, can be one of the most expensive costs you'll ever incur. You'll want to make sure that you complete certain tasks in the correct order to ensure there are no last minute snags that could turn new student orientation into a 100m dash.
1.Review our Education Financing "To-Do" List. You'll find a chronological listing, from January through August, of everything you need to do to prepare your student for college.
2.Check out Mapping Your Future, a one-stop guide for parents and students with information on strategies for financing an education, career options, and college planning. Visit them at mapping-your-future.org to get started.
3.Be sure to review the education financing options offered by Pentagon Federal Credit Union. We can help make the burden of financing a college education a little easier.
